While flying to any destination whether it is domestic or international you have to remain safe and for this you must keep certain things in your mind always.
a) You have to always carry your photo identification with yourself. In case you don’t have photo identification, you have to keep some other type of identification with you. But you must ensure that those are issued by the government authority. You might have to go through additional security checking incase you are unable to provide the identification. In many cases you might not board the airplane without proper identification. In international flights you have to provide your full name and the contact number or address.
b) You have to reach the airport with enough time in your hand. This is important in the busy hours and also while you are traveling. In case you are traveling with elderly or disabled person and also with children you have to give yourself more time to reach in time at the airport.
c) Never park your vehicle or leave it unattended in front of the airport terminal. This is the prohibited area and for this reason you have to find out a better place for the vehicle parking.
d) While traveling you must know what luggage you have throughout the journey so that you can minimize the chances of baggage lost. It is better to customize your luggage in order to make it recognizable from a distance.
e) When you come in contact of unattended luggage try to report it to the airport security staff or the airport personnel immediately.
f) You should not fool around regarding bomb, firearm or weapons. This may attract severe punishment for you in terms of penalty and imprisonment.
g) Since all your luggage is subjected to security check you have to assist the security personnel. If you are taking gifts keep it unwrapped till the checking finished.
h) Go through all the security measures of the airline so that you can know which items are prohibited to take into the airport.
i) You have to remain alert about your surroundings and if you notice any irregularities then you have to report them to the security personnel.
j) When you are on board the flight always fasten your seatbelt as and when announced by the flight officials. This is for the extra security of the passengers. Always follow what flight attendants are announcing during the flight.
